G&S Remodeling has completed two bathroom renovations for us, and they were recommended by our neighbors across the street. Not overly helpful or responsive. Hired them to help with a water leak issue, they showed up, did the repair and things are still leaking. I've been trying to get them back out for months and they're blowing me off.

There is no getting around the hassle of a master bath remodel (or any really). From the 1000 decisions, the dust, being displaced from your attached bedroom and closet, etc. The G&S Remodeling crew worked hard to minimize all of this and did a wonderful job. This is a family owned business, and the customer service is what you would expect from a company two decades ago - it was excellent - and rare these days. Difficulties will happen in any job, and they adapted and worked hard to make it right. They even purchased a couple cheap faucets to install while the ones we ordered took an extra two months to arrive, so that we could start using the bathroom. We never felt nickel and dimed, and when we inevitably changed our mind on something, they worked to get it done for us. They helped us hone in on what we really wanted, and built it for us. Everyone that I worked with from bid to job competition values quality, honesty and customer satisfaction. They will not sacrifice quality for speed. Unfortunately, we have had some foundation issues since the work was done. It is unrelated to their job and they are still working with us to make those repairs at a reasonable price. We would absolutely use them again!

If you are looking for a responsible, organized, highly skilled, and detailed oriented team that will be there through the whole project to help bring your idea into reality, you need to hire G&S Remodeling! Found them after my condo was destroyed by a flooding and butchered by an irresponsible contractor who abandoned the job with less than 30% of mediocre job done. G&S took this project and based the rebuild on photos and old specs I had, and they brought my place back to life. Flawless job on the floors and custom cabinetry. Their project management SW is very helpful and kept me on track of progress and details. Everyone from Gordon, Sonia, Jeffrey are just amazing people to work with and feel like family.

Gordon and his staff did a great job. He arranged to have new floors and painting done during "off hours" for a business. Everything worked out very well. The new vinyl floors turned out great and the painting was top notch!

Gordon and his team built a roof over our patio. They did an excellent job placing the posts directly over the concrete footer beam and finished the roof by tying into the existing roof, installed flashings to properly divert the water. In addition, they built a closet with trim that matches the existing house siding. We are very pleased with the results!

It is commonly known that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results. Right? WRONG! I looked up the definition and that wasn't even part of what I read. I dug a little deeper and found out that the popular definition is actually attributed to what Albert Eistein once said and his comments obviously caught on. That being said, I am here to say that not only did we use G & S Remodeling once, but we used them three times and more than likely, a fourth is in our future! Needless to say, we weren't insane nor were we expecting a different result. In fact, our experience was rather predictable and that is a good thing. Our first job was to build a workshop that could double as a second garage however this workshop could only be built on limited amount of space and consequently ended being a structure where there isn't a singly 90-degree corner in it and typical rafters, do not exist. The challenge was to build something I could add a lift to and park two cars in the space of one with enough clearance that the top car wouldn't hit the roof. Success! The second job, was to remodel 70% of the house to bring it up to date with the open concept popular in so many homes today. This required removing load bearing walls and a bunch of other stuff including concrete work for moving an exterior wall and then some in the house to run new power to a cooking island we added, replacing the ole traditional stove. We added three sets of pocket doors, and the new lighting is perfect. Again, success! This last or third project was to redo our Jack and Jill bath for our guestroom and my office. Like everyone else, we are getting older and not younger. Our bath had a tub/shower and as time goes on, more and more of our guests are of the age that climbing into a tub for a shower, is not the safest or easiest thing to do. The tub was old, water stained, the vanity was outdated, and there wasn't much space. The staff at G & S Remodeling listened to our concerns and made some great suggestions. My wife, did all the design work after bouncing thoughts back and forth and came up with a layout that is flat awesome. Pretty cool that we designed it and they did it. Five pocket doors replaced the old doors and that saved us a ton of space that is usually taken up with traditional doors. The vanity is perfect, the medicine chest is oversized (biggest I have ever seen). The shower is spacious enough to accommodate any and everyone needing to freshen up. The glass shower made the space look much bigger than it really is and we even have a hide-away toilet bowl brush door. I could easily go on but in all honesty, each of our projects were a collaboration of thoughts and ideas lead by us sharing our design needs, and G & S Remodeling incorporating that into a finished product. Okay, before you start to think that if its sounds too good to be true that it isn't true. You need to understand that each of these projects had bumps and delays. We live in a crazy world of supply chain issues, labor issues, and just plain ole issues. It happens. The test is how you get through to the other side and the amount of pain that you experience. Yes, there was pain. But we did a second project. Yes, there was pain. But we did a third project. There is a fourth project we are planning on within 18 months. Stay tuned...
