Initial Consultation
Let’s Talk About Your Home
Every successful remodel starts with a friendly 5-15 minute discovery conversation. If it looks like we’re a good fit and you’d like to move forward, we’ll schedule an in-home Initial Consultation with our Sales Representative.
During the Initial Consultation, we take time to understand your space, your goals, and your priorities. We also discuss your investment range so we can set realistic project expectations from the start.
What You Can Expect:
- We collaborate on your project scope and priorities.
- We explain design and construction options available to you.
- We establish a preliminary budget range that works for you.
- We take detailed measurements and photos of your space.

Design Consultation
Understanding Your Space & Vision
During this session, we take a closer look at your home and start shaping your project. Our design team meets with you one-on-one in a collaborative working session, building on what we learned during the Initial Consultation.
Our goal is to gather the technical details needed to move into the conceptual design phase while gaining a clear understanding of your needs, lifestyle, and design preferences.
What You Can Expect:
- We confirm previously collected measurements and photos of your space.
- We discuss layout, style, and how your home functions for your family.
- We explore initial design concepts and inspiration.
- We review early visual ideas along with a general project estimate.
- We align your project scope and investment range if anything has changed.

Conceptual Design & Presentation
Aligning Vision and Investment
Now we bring ideas together in a way that shows both the design direction and the associated investment. This helps you make informed decisions while ensuring all expectations are clear and aligned.
What You Can Expect:
- We walk you through the layout and overall design direction.
- We review preliminary pricing based on your project scope.
- We discuss budget priorities and refine expectations.
Your Role:
You’ll review and approve the overall design direction and budget range, and sign a Design Agreement to move forward. This is also your opportunity to ask questions and explore options so you feel confident in the next steps.

Schematic Design Development
Refining Every Detail
At this stage, your project really begins to take shape. We develop detailed schematic plans, identify special materials and long lead items, and coordinate technical documentation, all while keeping your goals and lifestyle at the center.
What We Do:
- We develop detailed floor plans, elevations, and layouts.
- We guide you through selection planning, including cabinetry, fixtures, and lighting.
- We create 3D renderings and visualizations.
- We coordinate with our network of trusted trade partners as needed.
- We refine pricing toward a firm project cost.
Your Role:
You’ll review layouts and selections, provide feedback through revision rounds, and collaborate closely with us to finalize the design.

Final Design & Proposal Presentation
Ready to Build
Everything comes together in this stage, from design details to pricing. This is when you can see the full scope of your remodel and make final decisions.
What We Present:
- Complete design package
- Finalized allowance budgets and a compiled list of selected specifications
- Firm Fixed Price proposal
Your Role:
You’ll review the complete design and final proposal, ask any remaining questions, and approve the project by signing the Construction Agreement.

Pre-Construction Planning
Setting the Project Up for Success
Before construction begins, we make sure every detail is documented, coordinated, and ready. This preparation ensures a predictable and organized construction phase and minimizes surprises.
Construction Kickoff
You’ll meet your Production Team as the project transitions from design to construction. During this kickoff, the Design Team formally hands off the project and remains available as a resource, while your Project Manager becomes your primary point of contact, overseeing the build and guiding how the design is executed on-site.
What We Do:
- We guide you through showroom selection appointments with your designer for allowance items.
- We finalize all materials and selections.
- We confirm timelines and scheduling.
Your Role:
This is your time to get excited while we take care of the details and prepare everything for a smooth construction experience.

Construction
Bringing Your Vision to Life
This is where your plans become reality. Our team manages the construction with expert precision, clear communication, and delicate care for your home.
What We Do:
- We manage all construction in coordination with trusted trade partners.
- We maintain a clear and organized project schedule.
- We help you stay comfortable at home with thoughtful planning for temporary setups.
- We keep you informed through our project communication platform, JobTread.
What You Participate In:
You’ll participate in walkthroughs to review progress and approve any necessary changes or adjustments along the way.

Project Completion & Handoff

Once construction is complete, we ensure every detail is just right so you can settle in and enjoy your home.
What You’ll Receive:
- A thoughtfully completed, high-quality renovation
- A final walkthrough with any remaining details addressed
- Custom care guidance and documentation for your new features
- Ongoing support, including our dedicated warranty process with a 90-day check-in and coverage on labor and materials for up to three years
